静岡県の東海道本線富士駅。
Fuji Station on the Tokaido Main Line in Shizuoka Prefecture.
富士山に近い場所ですが、この時間は雲の中でした。
It is close to Mount Fuji, but at that time, it was inside the clouds.

山梨県の甲府を目指して特急列車の予約をしていましたが、時間に余裕があったので一本早い普通列車で途中の富士宮駅に向かいます。
I had a reservation for a limited express train to Kofu in Yamanashi Prefecture, but since I had some spare time, I decided to take an earlier local train to Fujinomiya Station along the way.

富士宮駅から、予約していた特急列車に乗車します。

この身延線はおよそ100年前の1928年に民営鉄道として開業した経緯があります。そのため橋梁やトンネルを少なくする意図があったのか、曲線区間が多く特急列車でも88.4kmの距離をおよそ１時間45分(表定速度 約50km/h)かけて、ゆっくりと走っています。
The Minobu Line originally opened as a private railway in 1928—roughly a century ago. Perhaps to minimize the need for bridges and tunnels, the route features many curves; consequently, even limited express trains travel the 88.4-kilometer distance at a leisurely pace, taking about one hour and 45 minutes (Average speed about 50km/h).

甲府駅では新宿駅からの特急列車に出会いました。
この列車は高規格路線を走るので、120kmほどの距離をおよそ１時間半で(表定速度 約80km/h)結んでいます。
At Kofu Station, I encountered a limited express train from Shinjuku Station.
Since this train runs on a high-standard line, it covers a distance of about 120 km in about an hour and a half (with an average speed of around 80 km/h).

このお店でも、あっという間の時間を過ごさせていただき、甲府の楽しい思い出となりました。

They were surprised that a visitor from Kyoto had come to the bar on the second floor of the building without any prior knowledge.

I had a wonderful time at this shop, too—it flew by—and it became a fun memory of Kofu.
