Evolution (進化)
都営浅草線から品川駅へ向かう予定でした。
泉岳寺駅に到着した時、その先の京急線内でトラブルのアナウンスが。。
乗り継ぎ列車の時間もあり、代替ルートを探していると、JR線の新駅「高輪ゲートウェイ」が比較的近いとのこと。
電車に乗りながら何度か通った駅ですが、降り立ったことがなかった駅。
好奇心も手伝い、歩いて向かうことにしました。
開業当初より話題の多かった駅、喜びながら地下鉄の改札から階段を上がります。
泉岳寺駅。
何度か列車に乗って通り過ぎたことはありますが、地上に出るのは初めてです。
地上に出て、広い道路を渡って目に入った光景は、

広々とした、東京の夜空でした。
手前のガードレールが、この街が成長中であることを物語っていました。
進みつつある秋の夜、港区の真ん中で、深呼吸ができました。
そして、留置中の車両、その奥の高層住宅、さらには全てを俯瞰しているかのような月。
東京在住でない私は、この閑散とした雰囲気に落ち着きを覚えていました。
It was a spacious night sky in Tokyo.
The guardrail in the foreground tells us that the city is growing.
I was able to take a deep breath in the middle of Minato Ward on an advancing autumn night.
And the train in detention, the high-rise houses behind it, and the moon as if you were looking down at everything.
Not living in Tokyo, I felt calm in this quiet atmosphere.

さらに歩みを進めると、駅舎が現れました。
As I went further, the station building appeared.
開発中のこのエリア、建造物はこの駅舎だけです。
この広々とした空間と、開業間もない時から大きな存在感を示す駅。
独り占めしているようで、楽しくもありました。
あと何年もしないうちに、この一帯は、さらに開発が進み、人々で満たされることでしょう。
その前に、また近いうちに、この地を探訪したいと思っています。
This station building is the only structure in this area under development.
This spacious space and the station that has a big presence since its opening.
It seemed like I was all alone and it was fun.
In less than a few years, the area will be developed and filled with people.
Before that, I would like to explore this place again in the near future.
