177 A local ramen shop overflowing with boiled pork.

自宅から車で15分。

かねてから立ち寄りたかったラーメン店にお伺いしましまた。

15 minutes by car from home.

I visited a ramen restaurant that I had been wanting to visit for a long time.

京都府宇治市西部の住宅街に佇む、「ラーメン名木」さん。

Ramen Nagi is located in a residential area in the western part of Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture.

店内には、趣深いメニュー表示。

迷うことなく、「チャシュメン」の「ネギとっぴぐ」をお願いしました。

There is an interesting menu displayed inside the store.

Without any hesitation, I ordered the boiled pork ramen with extra green onions.

中からは、大量のネギが発掘されました。。

これだけでも十分な量ですが、ライスを追加し美味しくいただきました。

A large amount of green onions was unearthed from inside.

This was a sufficient amount on its own, but I added rice and it was delicious.

平日の昼下がりということもあり、店内は落ち着いた雰囲気でしたが、ご高齢のご主人がお一人で切り盛りされていました。

食事、とりわけラーメンについては人それぞれの好みや評価が大きく分かれるところですが、私はこのお店の雰囲気の中、美味しくいただくことができました。

ご主人、いつまでもお元気でいてくださいね！

As it was a weekday afternoon, the atmosphere inside the store was calm and relaxed, and the elderly owner was running the place by himself.

Food, especially ramen, is something that people have very different tastes and opinions about, but I was able to enjoy it in the atmosphere of this restaurant.
