047 From Takamatsu. (Sunrise Tour 2/4)

高松駅から、再スタートです。
It is a restart from Takamatsu Station.
今回はサンライズ瀬戸号に始発駅から乗る目的で訪れていますので、滞在時間は約30分間です。
ですので真向かいにある「ことでん(高松琴平電気鉄道)」の高松築港駅にも寄らず、駅ビル内のコンビニで買い物をするのが精一杯でした。
そして、コンビニで慌てて買い物をすると、判断力が鈍り、つい買いすぎてしまいます。
This time, I am visiting the Sunrise Seto train from the first train station, so my stay time is about 30 minutes.
Therefore, I did my best to shop at the convenience store in the station building without stopping at Takamatsu Tsukiko Station on the “Kotoden (Takamatsu Kotohira Electric Railway)” directly opposite.
And when I shop in a hurry at a convenience store, my judgment becomes dull and I end up buying too much.

寝台特急・サンライズ瀬戸号。高松から⬇️のルートで東京に向かいます。
The sleeper limited express, Sunrise Seto, heads for Tokyo from Takamatsu on the ⬇️ route.
高松から東京まで、800kmほどの旅。高揚感に包まれます。
A trip of about 800km from Takamatsu to Tokyo. I am surrounded by an uplifting feeling.

高松駅への入線です。
It is an entrance to Takamatsu Station.
都会の駅であれば、列車への乗車は発車直前となり時間の余裕がないのですが、高松駅の場合、発車30分前のこの時間から部屋に入ることができました。
At an urban station, the train boarding is just before departure and there is no time to spare, but at Takamatsu Station, I was able to enter the room from this time 30 minutes before departure.

今回は一ヶ月前の予約で、A寝台・シングルデラックス車両のチケットを入手できました。
This time, I made a reservation one month in advance and got a ticket for A-class sleeper car (Single Deluxe).

室内の様子です。
この部屋は、入口を入って右側にベッド、正面に洗面台、右側にデスクが配置されています。
広々とした空間で、快適な旅になりそうです。
It is a state of the room.
This room has a bed on the right side of the entrance, a washbasin in front, and a desk on the right side.
It will be a comfortable trip in a spacious space.
部屋の奥から、入口を望んでいます。
From the back of the room, there is a view of the entrance.

予想を超える充実ぶり。A寝台利用者専用シャワールームのカードもあります。

It’s more fulfilling than expected. There is also a shower room card exclusively for A-class sleeper car users.

今夜二度目の瀬戸大橋です。トンボ帰りで本州に戻ります。
港湾地帯の眩しい照明、そして途中の島の漁港の明かりが夜行列車とマッチしています。
This is Seto Ohashi for the second time tonight. I returned to Honshu (Island) on the way back from the dragonfly.
The dazzling lighting of the harbor area and the lights of the fishing port on the island on the way match the night trains.

岡山駅で出雲市駅から来る「サンライズ出雲」を併結するために、10分間の停車です。
間近で見る先頭車両は、迫力があります。
It is a 10-minute stop to connect “Sunrise Izumo” coming from Izumo-Shi Station at Okayama Station.
The leading car seen up close is powerful.

そして、再び先ほどの八角弁当の登場です。
それは、何故かというと、、
And again, the “Hakkaku-Bento (Octagon Lunch Box)” that I mentioned earlier is here.
That’s because…
美味しさ故の、二つ目ではありません。
京都から乗車した新幹線の車内でいただこうとしたのですが、、
お箸が見当たらなかったのです。。
一度は喜び勇んでいただこうとしたのですが、どれだけ探してもお箸が見つからず、敢えなく撤収となったのです。
その後、高松駅のコンビニで無事にお箸を調達し、ようやく夜食の時間に今夜のディナーに辿り着けたということです。
みなさん、駅弁をお求めになる時は、お箸の確認を心がけてくださいね。
It’s not the second one because it’s delicious.
I tried to get on the Shinkansen from Kyoto, but…
I couldn’t find the chopsticks…
I tried to be happy and brave once, but no matter how much I searched, I couldn’t find the chopsticks and gave up.
After that, I procured chopsticks safely at a convenience store at Takamatsu Station, and finally arrived at dinner tonight at midnight.
Everyone, please be sure to check your chopsticks when you buy an Ekiben (Bento sold at railway stations).

日付が変わった時刻に大阪駅に到着です。
向こうのホームには、大阪駅が終点となる本日の最終電車が到着していました。
家路につく人達が、改札口へ向かわれています。
この先は全ての鉄道の最終列車が出発していますので、皆さんタクシーに乗られるのでしょうね。
I arrived at Osaka Station at the time when the date changed.
Today’s last train, which ends at Osaka Station, has arrived at the platform over there.
People who get home are heading to the exit of the station.
Since the last trains of all railways depart from this point, everyone will be able to take a taxi.

およそ６時間ぶりに京都へ戻ってきました。
サンライズ号は深夜の京都駅を通過してゆきます。
それでは、そろそろ休むこととします。
