８月の仕事終わり、友人が開く個展へと大阪へ向かいました。
After work in August, I headed to Osaka for a private exhibition held by a friend.

まず京都駅へやってきたのは、113系。
First, the 113 Series train came to Kyoto Station.
今年の秋には運用離脱との声が聞こえてきています。
We are hearing that the operation will be taken offline this fall.
残念ながら、この列車は京都駅までです。
Unfortunately, this train ends at Kyoto Station.
「この車両で大阪まで行けたらいいのになぁ。。」なんて思ってしまいます。
I thought, “I wish I could take this train to Osaka.

新快速としてやってきたのは、この223系車両。
This Series 223 train came as the Special Rapid train.
この車両のデビューは1994年。車齢30年近くのベテランです。
This car debuted in 1994. The car is nearly 30 years old.

大阪駅に到着です。
Arrival at Osaka Station.
大阪独特の賑やかさを感じます。
I felt the bustling atmosphere that is unique to Osaka.

ここからは、阪急電車の宝塚線に乗り換えます。
From here, transfer to the Takarazuka Line of the Hankyu Railway.
阪急電車には長い間乗っていますが、運行時間が限られている宝塚線の特急を利用するのは初めてです。
Although I have been riding the Hankyu Railway for a long time, this is the first time for me to use the Takarazuka Line limited express service, which has limited hours of operation.

Bridge over the Yodo River.
鋼材の骨組みに、力強さを感じます。
The steel framework gives a sense of strength.

そしてギャラリーに到着。
And I arrived at the gallery.

この絵画を描く技巧力は、本当に素晴らしいものだと思います。
The technical skill with which these paintings are executed is truly remarkable.
ですが、それだけではなく、「墨」だけで描かれた人物の声、感情、熱気がこんなにもリアルに伝わってくることに衝撃を覚えました。
However, I was also struck by how realistically the voices, emotions, and heat of the people depicted using only “sumi” ink could be conveyed.
どうして、こんな絵が描けるのだろう。。

この日、友人とは多くを語りました。
On this day, my friend and I talked a lot.
彼は、彼が持つ情熱と、才能を「絵を描くこと」と「仕事」に余すことなく発揮しています。
He has a passion for his craft and a talent for “painting” and “working” in excess.
そして今回もまた、私は多くの刺激を受け、鼓舞されて帰路につきました。
And once again, I returned home much inspired and inspired.
