今回は東海道新幹線での移動です。

土曜日朝の京都駅、人出がいくぶん戻っている様子です。
この風景は、毎朝の出勤時にも目にしていますが、新幹線に乗るときは心にゆとりがあるせいか、なんだが楽しい景色に思えます。

I see this scenery every morning when I go to work, but when I get on the Shinkansen, I think it’s a fun scenery, probably because I have a lot of space in my heart.

東京に向かう列車が、短時間の間で多く表示されています。
このような運行頻度は、まるで通勤列車のようです。
Many trains heading to Tokyo are displayed in a short period of time.

利用する列車は、新幹線内各駅停車の「こだま」712号。
時間に余裕があるときは、ゆっくりとこの列車に乗ります。

お気づきの方も多いかとは思いますが、今回乗車したのはグリーン車。
新横浜まで、およそ3時間20分の旅を充実したものにしてくれます。
As many of you may have noticed, this time I got on a green car.
It will enrich your trip to Shin-Yokohama in about 3 hours and 20 minutes.

乗車票の金額欄に注目してください。乗車券込みの料金が、11,100円となっています。
京都→新横浜間、グリーン車利用の一般料金は18,600円です。
しかし、「EX予約」のこだまグリーン車用早期割引を使えば、普通車の通常料金・13,180円よりもさらにリーズナブルに利用することができます。
同じ区間を「のぞみ」で行けば１時間50分。
「こだま」では、さらに１時間半の時間を要しますが、私にとっては大好きな新幹線に、「１時間半も長く」、「グリーン車に」、そして「リーズナブルに」乗ることができるわけですから、この上ない幸せの時間になるのです。
Please pay attention to the amount column on the boarding ticket. The fare including the ticket is 11,100 yen.
The general fare for using a green car between Kyoto and Shin-Yokohama is 18,600 yen.
However, if you use the “EX Reservation” early discount for Kodama Green Cars, you can use it at a more reasonable price than the regular fare of 13,180 yen for regular cars.
If you go on the same section by “Nozomi”, it will take 1 hour and 50 minutes.

先ほどの動画にもありましたが、今回の車両は「N700S」、新しい形式で居住性も良好でした。

東京まで、たくさんの駅に止まるのが、よくわかります。
ところで、ご存知の方も多いとは思いますが、新幹線車内放送のチャイム音には2種類あります。
今日の車両はJR西日本所属なので、山口百恵さんの「いい日旅立ち」。
JR東海所属車両はTOKIOさんの「Ambitious Japan」。
どちらもいい雰囲気だと思います。
私個人の感想ですが、「いい日旅立ち」は穏やかな気持ちになり、
「Ambitious Japan」は、ワクワクした気分になります。
You can see that it stops at many stations up to Tokyo.
By the way, as many of you may know, there are two types of chime sounds for Shinkansen in-car broadcasts.
Today’s train belongs to JR West, so Momoe Yamaguchi’s ” I – i – hi Tabidachi ( a good day departure )”.
The vehicle belonging to JR Tokai is “Ambitious Japan” by TOKIO.
I think both have a nice atmosphere.
My personal impression is that “I – i – hi Tabidachi ” makes me feel calm.
“Ambitious Japan” makes me feel excited.

グリーン車に備え付けられたブランケットです。
冬場はもちろんのこと、夏場で冷房がよく効いている時に助かっています。
当然ながら持ち帰りはできませんが、同じものを「新幹線グッズ」として販売されていればいいなと思っています。

浜名湖です。富士山に次いで、楽しみな風景です。
浜名湖といえば鰻が有名ですが、子どもの頃はこの湖にウナギがたくさん泳いでいるものだと思っていました。
It is Lake Hamana. Next to Mt. Fuji, it is a fun landscape.
Lake Hamana is famous for eels, but when I was a kid I thought that many eels were swimming in this lake.

そして、富士山。
その日の天候、雲の具合で、毎回異なる姿を見せてくれます。
この日の富士山は雲のかかり具合が絶妙で、まるで山頂が冠雪しているかのようでした。
And Mt. Fuji.
Depending on the weather of the day and the condition of the clouds, it will look different every time.
The clouds on Mt. Fuji on that day were exquisite, and it was as if the top of the mountain was covered with snow.

三島駅でのブレイクタイム。
5分停車の間に立ち寄ったお店で見つけてしまいました。
本当はお弁当を買う予定はなかったのですが、この電気機関車「EF58」のイラストに心を奪われてしまいました。
150円という金額は1965年前後の価格で、実際は770円だったことを付け加えておきます。

あまりの嬉しさで、フタを開けるとすぐさまお箸をつけてしまいましたので。。
Break time at Mishima station.
I found it at a shop I stopped by during the 5 minute stop.
I didn’t really plan to buy a lunch box, but I was fascinated by the illustration of this electric locomotive “EF58”.
It should be added that the price of 150 yen was around 1965 and was actually 770 yen.
