当初はいずれ作るであろう、「YouTube動画」の準備といった目的もありました。
Initially, the purpose was to prepare for the “YouTube videos” that I would eventually make.
そんなブログも間もなく２年、100回を迎えようとしています。
This blog will soon be two years old, and we are about to celebrate our 100th anniversary.
ここにきてようやく、少しずつですが自分が目指す「表現の方法」や「ストーリーの組み立て」見えてきたような気がします。
I think I am finally beginning to see the “method of expression” and “story construction” that I am aiming for, albeit little by little.
ただ、もう既に巷には数多くの「YouTube動画クリエーター」の方がいらっしゃいます。
However, there are already numerous “YouTube video creators” on the street.
そんな中で、「京都に住む」「電車好き」の私がどんな発信がしたいのか、どのように差別化に取り組むのかを考えていました。
In such a situation, I was thinking about what kind of message I, as a “Kyoto resident” and “railroad enthusiast,” would like to send out and how I would work to differentiate myself.
今、目指しているのは、
I am now aiming to create
「それほどメジャーではないけれど、ちょっと電車に乗って出かける京都の興味深い場所」を、「美しいナレーション」で伝える動画」です。
a “beautifully narrated” video about “interesting places in Kyoto that are not so major, but are just a short train ride away”.
今になって思えば「欲張りすぎた」のですが、できる限りのことをやって見ようと思っています。
In hindsight, I was “too greedy,” but I am going to see what I can do.
今のところ、YouTube動画は3本をアップしていますが、全てがこれからです。
So far, I have uploaded three YouTube videos, all of which are in the works.
動画作成、ナレーションとも技量をさらに上げていきたいと思っています。
I would like to further improve my skills in both video creation and narration.
ナレーション技術の向上にむけては、ボイトレスクールに通い出しています。
To improve my narration skills, I have started attending a voice training school.
そして、このスクールでは年に２回の発表会があるのですが、
And this school has two recitals a year.
次のステージでは朗読劇に加えて、「男性が少ないので。。」ということから
In addition to the readings, the next stage will feature a “few men.”
ミュージカル曲のコーラスとデュエットまでチャレンジすることになっています。
So, we are going to challenge the chorus of musical songs and even duets.
最初は、なんとなく手をつけたYouTubeへのチャレンジでしたが、
At first, I sort of took up the challenge of YouTube.
予想もしない展開の広がりを楽しんでいます。
I am enjoying the unexpected spread of developments.
ということで、初詣の参拝者で混み合う前、大晦日の石清水八幡宮を訪れて、気持ちを固めてきました。
Therefore, I visited Ishimizu Hachimangu Shrine on New Year’s Eve, before the shrine was crowded with visitors for Hatsumode, to consolidate my feelings.
そして今回のブログでは、「ケーブルカー乗車のフルムービー」も収めたYouTube動画を、ナレーションにチャレンジしたバージョン、英語バージョン、普段の話し言葉バージョンと3種類をご用意致しましたので、ぜひご覧ください。
And in this blog, we have prepared three types of YouTube videos that also include a “full movie of the cable car ride,” including a version in which we challenged the narration, an English version, and a normal spoken language version, so please take a look.

次は、英語版です。
「英語まで関西弁ですね。」との、優しいご指摘をいただいています。( It’s The Osakan English！ )
Next, the English version.
“Even your English is Kansai-ben. ( = a dialect of Western Japan )” I have received a gentle reminder.

そして、普段の言葉で語るバージョンです。
And here is a version that speaks in everyday language( = a dialect of Western Japan ).
結果として、この「普段の言葉」が比較的「声が前に出ている」との、ボイトレの先生からのお言葉をいただきました。
As a result, my voice training teacher told me that this “my normal spoken language” is relatively “forward in voice”.
それぞれの良い部分を伸ばして、素敵なナレーションができるようにも頑張ります。
I will also do my best to develop the best parts of each of them to make a great narration.
