162 A Happy Town, A Happy Train.

東北を堪能し、東京の日暮里での「蕎麦」の翌日に向かったのは横浜。

After enjoying Tohoku and a soba and curry rice dinner in Nippori, Tokyo, I headed to Yokohama the day after.

横浜駅には、「京急のハッピーイエロートレイン」がやってきました。

この列車を見たことはありましたが、乗車するのは初めてです。

特急列車だったので目的地の最寄駅には止まらなかったのですが、感情が昂ってしまい、思わず飛び乗っていました。

The Keikyu Happy Yellow Train has arrived at Yokohama Station.

I had seen this train before, but this was my first time riding it.

Because it was an express train, it didn’t stop at the station nearest to my destination, but I was so excited that I ended up getting on the train.

その後、二駅ほど戻って、たどり着いたのがこのお店。

After that, we went back two stations and arrived at this restaurant.

台湾料理の「第一亭」さんです。

This is Daiichitei, a Taiwanese restaurant.

お目当ての食事は、この「パタン」です。

この「パタン」という名前は、この料理を作る時に包丁から出る音に由来しているようです。

The meal I was looking forward to was this dish called “Patan.”

The name “patan” seems to come from the sound made by the knife when cooking this dish.

ニンニクの風味が効いたお料理で、シンプルな味付けですが麺の食感がしっかりとしていて、食べ応えがあります。

The dish has a strong garlic flavor and is simply seasoned, but the noodles have a firm texture and are very satisfying to eat.

There were also photos and autographs of famous people on the walls.

今をときめく「この方」のポスターもありました。

この写真を見ていると、ついついたくさん頼んでしまいそうです。

There was also a poster of “this person” who is very popular at the moment.

This actor’s name is Yutaka Matsushige, and he plays the lead role in “The Solitary Gourmet,” which is currently the most popular TV drama in Japan and has also been made into a movie.

Looking at this photo, I feel like I want to order a lot.
