078 Lunch at the fishing port.

今回は、銚子電鉄の終点・外川駅を降りて、港を目指します。

This time, we will get off at Tokowa Station, the last stop on the Choshi Electric Railway line, and head for the harbor.

外川駅は丘陵地の上にあるので、港までは坂を下って進みます。

Tokawa Station is located on a hilly terrain, so proceed down the hill to the port.

５分ほど歩くと、港に到着です。

After a five-minute walk, you will arrive at the port.

お昼ごはんは、

Lunch is served at

港の食堂「いたこ丸」さん。

Itako-Maru, a diner located in the port.

営業は午前10時30分からで、到着したのは11時30分頃。

The diner opens at 10:30 a.m. and we arrived around 11:30 a.m.

すでに満席で、10名ほどの方が待たれていました。

The place was already full, with about 10 people waiting.

暑い日でしたが、待っている間も楽しみです。

It was a hot day, but I enjoyed the wait.

そして、12時を過ぎた頃に席に着くことができました。

And I was able to take my seat just after noon.

オーダーしたのは、シーフードフライのランチ。

I ordered the fried seafood lunch.

印象的だったのは、(おそらく)ヒラメのフライ(左端に盛り付けられている)。

The most impressive dish was (probably) the fried sole (served on the left side).

フワフワしていて、口の中では新鮮な白身魚の甘みが漂います。

It is fluffy and has the sweetness of fresh white fish in the mouth.

この「シラス」たち。可愛くて食べちゃいそうでした。

These “shirasu” (whitebait). They were so cute that I almost ate them.

いやいや、しっかり美味しくいただきました。。

No, no, I enjoyed it well.

次は、デザートへ。

Next, I moved on to dessert.

近くに、「かき氷屋さん」がありました。

Nearby, there was a “shaved ice shop”.

飾らない、地元の「社交場」。

An unpretentious, local “social place”.

お子さんから、お姉様方までもが楽しんでおられました。

Everyone from the children to elder sisters enjoyed the event.

今日の「ゴール」の場所です。

This is the “goal” location for today.

この風景、いつまでも眺めていられますよね。
