高輪ゲートウェイ駅、２度目の訪問です。
This is my second visit to Takanawa Gateway Station.

明るい時間に見るこの駅は、とても爽やかな印象です。
This station, which you see in bright hours, gives a very refreshing impression.

改札前のテラスには、期間限定の無線充電スポットが設置されています。
A wireless charging spot for a limited time is set up on the terrace in front of the ticket gate.
この充電設備に供給される電源は、上部に設置されている太陽電池。自給自足型ですね。
The power supplied to this charging facility is the solar cell installed at the top. It’s a self-sufficient type.

早速、私のiPhoneを置いてみました。
I immediately put my iPhone down.

充電しています。
It’s charging now.
実は、このiPhoneを無線充電するのは今回が初めてでした。
In fact, this was the first time I had wirelessly charged this iPhone.
なので、この充電設備を使えたことは当然のことでしたが、なにより、自分のiPhoneが無線充電していることに小さな感動を受けていました。。
So it was natural that I could use this charging facility, but above all, I was a little impressed by the wireless charging of my iPhone…

では、改札を通り、駅に入りましょう。
Let’s go through the ticket gate and enter the station.

改札を入り、右手に広がる山手線乗り場の光景です。
It is a view of the Yamanote Line platform that spreads to the right after entering the ticket gate.
大阪メトロ御堂筋線の、心斎橋駅のような印象を受けました。
I got the impression that it was like Shinsaibashi Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line.

さらに、まっすぐ進むと、、
If you go straight ahead,
電車好きのテンションを上げる光景が広がります。
The spectacle that raises the tension of train lovers spreads.
この駅自体が、昔の車両基地の跡地に作られたということで、ここにも名残を感じます。
The station itself was built on the site of an old rail yard, so I feel a remnant here as well.

少し、改札の方へ戻ります。
I will return to the ticket gate for a while.
上層階にはコーヒーショップ、改札フロアーにはコンビニがあります。
There is a coffee shop on the upper floor and a convenience store on the ticket gate floor.

お店に入ってみましょう。
Let’s enter the store.
少し見づらいですが、入口には透明アクリル板のゲートが設置されています。
It’s a little hard to see, but there is a transparent acrylic gate at the entrance.

ここから見る限りでは、商品が全て縦向けに置かれていて、一般的なコンビニとは少し違った印象です。
As far as I can see from here, all the products are placed vertically, which gives an impression that it is a little different from a general convenience store.
見つけました、京都のお土産を！（念のためですが、ここは東京。。）
I found a souvenir from Kyoto! (Just in case, this is Tokyo …)

途中、いくつかのアイテムを手にしてレジに向かいます。
On the way, I will go to the cash register with some items in my hand.
初めての経験だったので、このシステムには驚きました。

⬆️の動画でもあったように、このように商品をテーブルに置く前に手にした商品が登録されているのです。
As you can see, the product you got before you put it on the table is registered.
きっと、何かのセンサーが手にした商品を感知してのことだと思います。
I’m sure that some kind of sensor senses the product you picked up.
天井にたくさんのカメラがあって、それを遠隔地のモニターで、監視員がひとつひとつ登録しているような仕組みではないと思うのですが、残念ながら具体的なシステムの想像がつきません。
I don’t think there are a lot of cameras on the ceiling, and it’s not a mechanism where the observers register each one on a remote monitor, but unfortunately I can’t imagine a concrete system.

Takanawa Gateway Station.
成長過程の街、明るいエントランスデッキ、開放的な駅構内、それぞれが印象的でした。
The growing city, the bright entrance deck, and the open station yard were all impressive.
そして、最後に入ったコンビニが、最も大きなインパクトを私に与えてくれました。
And the last convenience store gave me the biggest impact.
また、品川界隈に立ち寄った折には、訪れてみたいと思います。
Also, I would like to visit when I stop by the Shinagawa area.
