018 Suetomi-san.

「迷ったら、末富さんにしたらええ。」
「間違いあらへんから。」
これは、かつて私が教えていただいた言葉。
初めて「末富さん」に接することができたきっかけです。
末富さんは、京都の和菓子屋さん。
京都には数多くの歴史ある和菓子のお店がありますが、私にとっては思い出深いお店の一つです。
この「末富ブルー」と言われる青い包装紙を見る度に、当時の出来事や、感情が蘇ってきます。
そして、大切な方へ、大切な時に、何かをと思うと頭に浮かぶ存在です。
私が育った京都には、このようなモノとお店があり、お人がいらっしゃいます。
人々の移動が、かつてのように自由になり、また、触れ合いと相互理解ができるようになることを、心から願っています。
“If you get lost, you can ask Suetomi-san.”
“Because there is no mistake.”
This is the word I once taught.
It was the first time I was able to come into contact with “Suetomi-san”.
Suetomi is a Japanese sweets shop in Kyoto.
There are many historical Japanese sweets shops in Kyoto, but it is one of the memorable ones for me.
Every time I see this blue wrapping paper called “Suetomi Blue”, the events and feelings of that time are revived.
And to those who are important to me, when I think about something when it is important, it is the one that comes to my mind.
In Kyoto, where I grew up, there are such things and shops, and there are people.
I hope that when people are free to move, they will be able to interact and understand each other.
