After interacting with the deer and visiting the brewery, I came all the way to Nara, so…

近鉄大和西大寺駅から、この⬆️部分の線路を楽しむことにしました。

この駅は４方向の路線が交差するうえに、車両基地も併設されているので30近い分岐器が設置されている、心躍る場所です。

I decided to enjoy this section of the tracks from Kintetsu Yamato-Saidaiji Station. This station is an exciting place, with four lines intersecting and a train depot attached, so there are nearly 30 switches installed.

そして、この列車で向かったのは、次の急行停車駅：大和郡山駅です。

And the train I was heading to was the next express stop: Yamatokoriyama Station.

この駅には、数少なくなりつつある構内踏切が現役で稼働しています。

前半は現在の警報音、後半はかつてのものです。

古いタイプの音はかなり個性的で、私が利用する大久保駅も高架になるまでは構内踏切があり、この警報音が鳴り響いていました。

なので、私にとってはかつての音が自然に思えます。

This station has a railroad crossing still in operation inside the ticket gates, which is becoming increasingly rare.

The first half is the current alarm sound, and the second half is the old one.

The sound of the old type was quite unique, and Okubo Station, which I use, also had a railroad crossing on the premises until the elevated tracks were built, and this alarm sound would ring out.

So to me, the old sound seems natural.

大和西大寺駅に戻ると、新しい配色を施された阪神電車の車両が入線してきました。

この赤色は、かつての近鉄電車を彷彿とさせます。

When I returned to Yamato-Saidaiji Station, a Hanshin Electric Railway train with a new color scheme was pulling into the station.

This red color is reminiscent of the old Kintetsu trains.

側面には、今年プロ野球でリーグ優勝を果たした阪神タイガースの監督・選手の姿がラッピングされています。

なかなかの迫力。。

The side of the badge is wrapped with images of the manager and players of the Hanshin Tigers, who won the Central League championship in Japanese professional baseball this year.

Quite impressive.
