049 Additional trip. (Sunrise Tour 4/4)

10時間近い旅を終えたサンライズ瀬戸、これから車庫へ回送されます。
After nearly 10 hours of traveling, Sunrise Seto will be sent to the garage.
また今夜、それぞれの目的地に向かうまでしばらくの休息時間です。
It will be a short rest tonight before heading to each destination.

さて、東京駅に着いた後は、今回２つ目のお目当てに向かいます。
やってきたのは新宿駅。
⬇️は2019年11月からJR線との相互乗り入れを実施している、相模鉄道の列車です。
京都に住んでいる私は、相互乗り入れ区間がどこを走っているのか、地図を見ただけでは実感できなかったので、ぜひ一度乗ってみたい列車でした。
これまでの私の相模鉄道車両のイメージは、「若草色やアルミボディに赤のアクセント」でした。
この「ヨコハマ・ネイビーブルー」と呼ばれるメタリック塗装は、実際に見るとさらに格好良さを感じました。
では、⬇️のムービーで新宿駅から、相模鉄道本線との合流点である西谷駅まで旅してみましょう。
この区間、実際には約50分の距離ですが、ムービーでは編集と早送りで、1分23秒にしています。
By the way, after arriving at Tokyo Station, I will head to the second destination this time.
I came to Shinjuku station.
⬇️ is a Sagami Railway train that has been mutually connected with the JR line since November 2019.
Living in Kyoto, I couldn’t really tell where the mutual access section was running just by looking at the map, so I definitely wanted to take this train.
The image of my Sagami Railway car so far has been “young grass color, red accent on aluminum body”.
This metallic paint called “Yokohama Navyblue” felt even cooler when I actually saw it.
Let’s take a trip from Shinjuku Station to Nishiya Station, which is the confluence with the Sagami Railway Main Line, in the movie ⬇️.
This section is actually about 50 minutes away, but in the movie it is edited and fast forwarded to 1 minute 23 seconds.
この区間、序盤を除きほぼ初めてだったので、新鮮な印象を受けました。
新幹線の高架横を走る区間は、思っていた以上に民家に隣接していました。
そしてなにより、終盤は思ってた以上にトンネルだらけでした。
This section was almost the first time except for the beginning, so I got a fresh impression.
The section running beside the elevated railroad track of the Shinkansen was closer to the private house than I had expected.
And above all, the final stage was full of tunnels more than I had imagined.

この列車の終点・海老名駅までの行程図です。
最大限に既存路線を活用していますので、右へ左へとクネクネしたルートになっていますね。
It is a route map to the end point of this train, Ebina Station.
This line makes the best use of existing equipment, so it has a shape that bends to the right and left.

海老名駅に到着後は、新宿に戻るため、小田急線に乗り換えです。
赤い特急ロマンスカー。
「乗る」か、「録る」かを考えましたが、「録る」選びました。
After arriving at Ebina Station, change to the Odakyu Line to return to Shinjuku.
Red Odakyu Limited Express Romancecar.
I thought about “riding” or “recording”, but I chose “recording”.
先頭車両の最前列には、いつも誰かが陣取っています。
やっぱり「いちばんまえ」は、楽しいですよね。
Someone is always in the front row of the lead car.
After all, “front row” is fun, isn’t it?

そして新宿。
小田急センチュリーサザンタワーの20階です。
高い場所、怖くなんかありません、決して！
ただ、すこーし、意識が遠のいていくだけなんです。
⬇️のムービーを録っていた時も、カラダをしっかりと後ろの壁に押し付けていたので、平気でしたよ。。。
And Shinjuku.
It is the 20th floor of Odakyu Century Southern Tower.
I’m not scared of high places, so never!
However, it’s just a little bit far from consciousness.
Even when I was recording the ⬇️ movie, I was fine because I was pressing my body firmly against the back wall…

艱難辛苦を乗り越え、ご褒美に到達しました。
And finally
Overcoming the hardships and pains, I have reached the reward.
上品な美味しさ、ゆっくり堪能しました。
