017 A short trip around Lake Biwa on the way home from work 2/2

近江塩津駅です。

ここは京都からの湖西線と・米原からの北陸本線の合流駅。

２０時を回るこの時間になると、すっかり静かな雰囲気です。

It is Omi-Shiotsu station.

This is a confluence station of the Kosei Line from Kyoto and the Hokuriku Main Line from Maibara.

At this time around 20:00, the atmosphere is completely quiet.

撮影しているうちに、次に乗る米原行きが到着。

急いで乗車します。

この電車の中で、次に乗る京都行き電車の時刻を調べていると、長浜駅からの別の列車を見つけました。

While shooting, the next train bound for Maibara arrived.

I will get on in a hurry.

When I was checking the time of the next train to Kyoto on this train, I found another train from Nagahama Station.

長浜で下車。

Get off at Nagahama.

そして、追加のチケットを購入します。

Then buy additional tickets.

特急・しらさぎ１６号です！

乗車したのは次の停車駅・米原まで。

およそ１０分のショート・ショートトリップでした。

この列車は名古屋まで行くのですが、多くの利用客が新幹線へ乗り換えて行きました。

I got on the train to the next stop, Maibara.

It was a short short trip of about 10 minutes.

This train goes to Nagoya, but many passengers changed to the Shinkansen.

この駅で琵琶湖線の新快速へ乗り換え。

Transfer to the Special Rapid Service on the Biwako Line at this station.

一気に京都へ。

To Kyoto at once.

京都からのラストランは、奈良行き快速。

The last train from Kyoto is a Rapid train bound for Nara.

我が街に帰ってきました。

I’m back in my town.

今回のルートです。

It’s a route of this time.

京都から近江塩津、長浜を通って大津までは、上の２つのルート。

上のチケットの区間です。

そして大津から京都を通り新田(しんでん)までが、下のチケットです。

実際には大津駅で下車していませんが、京都から大津までの大回り乗車を成立させるために、あらかじめ連続乗車券を準備しておきました。

しかしながら、２枚目のチケットは入場処理をされていなかったため、新田駅の自動改札を通すことができません。

The above two routes from Kyoto through Omi-Shiotsu and Nagahama to Otsu.

This is the section of the ticket above.

And the ticket below is from Otsu through Kyoto to Shinden.

Actually, I didn’t get off at Otsu station, but I prepared a continuous ticket in advance to make a big round trip from Kyoto to Otsu.

However, the second ticket has not been processed for admission, so I cannot pass through the automatic ticket gate at Shinden Station.

遠隔操作で問い合わせ。

オペレーターの方の案内に沿って、チケットを「きっぷをおいてください」の位置に置き、

画像を確認していただいた後に「⬇︎⬇︎回収口⬇︎⬇︎」へ投入。

Inquire by remote control.

Follow the operator’s guidance and place the ticket in the 「きっぷをおいてください(Please leave your ticket) 」 position.

After checking the image, put it in the “⬇︎⬇︎ 回収口 (collection port) ⬇︎⬇︎”.

すると、⬆️の出場証が左側の機械より発券され、

無事に改札口を通ることができました。

Then, the entry certificate of ⬆️ is issued from the machine on the left side,

I was able to pass through the ticket gate safely.
