006 The Series 103 in JR Nara Line

1964年から製造され、日本を代表した旧国鉄の通勤電車「１０３系」車両。

かつては東京・大阪地域を中心に多くの人々の足となっていました。

私が子供の時、国鉄の最寄駅は東海道本線の向日町駅で、京都駅へはいつも青色の電車に乗っていました。

この頃の通勤車両には、基本、冷房装置はありません。

ただ、私は冷房があろうが、無かろうが、この電車に乗ることが楽しくてたまりませんでした。

Manufactured from 1964, the former JNR ( Japan National Railways ) commuter train, the 103 series car.

It used to be the foot of many people, especially in Tokyo and Osaka areas.

When I was a child, the nearest station of JNR was Mukomachi Station, and I always took a blue train to Kyoto Station.

Commuter cars these days don’t have air conditioners.

However, I couldn’t stand the pleasure of getting on this train with or without air conditioning.

この車体はコイルバネなのでレールの継ぎ目の振動も、直接伝わってきます。

This car body is a coil spring, so the vibration of the rail joints can be directly transmitted.

JR奈良線で今も現役で走る車両です。

朝の出勤時に出会うと、気分も上がります。

It’s a train that still runs on the JR Nara Line.

I feel better when I meet it on may way to work in the morning.

京都駅で、今の主役になりつつある205系と。

この205系も、そこそこのベテランです。

With the 205 series, which is becoming the main character at Kyoto Station.

This 205 series is also a decent veteran.

そして、今は見ることができませんが、青色103系との並列。

私にとって、この青色103系は特別です。

And although we can’t see it now, it’s in parallel with the blue 103 series.

For me, this blue 103 series is special.

私の家族が撮った、とても珍しいみやこ路快速の代走運用。

この先、これに出会うことがあるのでしょうか。。

A very rare Miyakoji ( former capital road ) Rapid train runner operation taken by my family.

Will I ever come across this in the future ? ?

奈良線の103系も、卒業の時が迫っているようです。

103系が走り続けるかぎり、その姿を心に焼き付けていきたいと思います。

Graduation time seems to be approaching for 103 series of Nara Line.

As long as the 103 series continues to run, I want to keep that image in my mind.
