005 The Finest Beer in Nara!

週末の夜、もうひとつの古都・奈良へ。

On a weekend night, I went to Nara, another ancient capital.

18:00発、奈良行き特急。

Departure at 18:00, a limited express bound for Nara.

特急車両がお待ちかね。

The limited express car is waiting.

いつもの東寺を見ながら、小旅行気分で気分も上がります。

I feel like I’m on a short trip while looking at the usual Toji (temple).

京都の街並みを越えて行きます。

It goes beyond the street of Kyoto.

到着した時、奈良はすっかり夜。

When I arrived, Nara was completely at night.

幻想的な興福寺の夜景。

The fantastic night view of Kohukuji (temple).

風情ある「奈良町（ならまち）」を通り抜け、

I went through tasteful ” Nara-machi “,

目的地へ到着。

and I got to today’s destination.

１階のブルワリーで造られたクラフトビールを送り出すタップ達。

“Taps” to send out craft beer made from brewery on the grand floor.

私が奈良で最も愛する一杯、「そらみつ」。

「そらみつ」とは、「大和（＝奈良）」にかかる枕詞だそうです。

“SORAMITSU” ( the name of this beer ) that I love the most in Nara.

“Soramitsu” is the most common “Makurakotoba” ( Poetic epithet convention ) used to refer to Nara.
