わずか30分程度の宇奈月温泉駅での滞在。

A stay at Unazuki Onsen Station lasting only about 30 minutes.

駅前には湧き出た温泉の噴水がありました。

この駅には「足湯」があったのですが、到着した時には営業時間が終了しており、少し残念でしたが、この勢いのある噴水を見て雰囲気を味わうことができました。

There was a fountain of hot spring water gushing out in front of the station.

This station had a footbath, but unfortunately, it was closed when I arrived. However, I was still able to enjoy the atmosphere by looking at this powerful fountain.

駅の後ろは、間際まで山脈が迫っており圧巻の風景です。

Behind the station, the mountain range looms right up to the edge, creating a breathtaking view.

束の間の散策を終え、折り返し列車で宿泊地に向かいます。

After a brief stroll, I’ll take the return train to my accommodation.

新魚津駅まで戻ってきました。

今夜は、ここでの滞在となります。

We’ve returned to Shin-Uozu Station.

We will be staying in this town tonight.

私達を乗せてきた列車は、暗闇の中を電鉄富山駅に向かって走り去っていきました。

The train that had brought us sped away into the darkness, heading towards Dentetsu Toyama Station.

夜の宴。

仲間同士の会話に華が咲きます。

A nighttime banquet.

The conversation among friends becomes lively.

そして富山湾の名産、「ゲンゲ」と呼ばれる深海魚です。

And then there’s the deep-sea fish known as “genge,” a specialty of Toyama Bay.

このお魚、干物になるとかなりのインパクトですが、本来はなかなか可愛い姿です。

This fish makes quite an impact when dried, but it’s actually quite cute.

This dried fish was quite delicious (or so I’ve heard).

旅は明日へと続きます。

This is the restaurant we went to that night.

The restaurant is called “Isaribi,” which means “fishermen’s lanterns.”

The journey continues tomorrow.
