176 A little trip on Sunday afternoon.
とある日曜日の午後、ふいにどこかへ行きたくなり、
One Sunday afternoon, I suddenly felt like going somewhere.

近鉄京都線大久保駅から、目的地を決めずに列車に乗りました。
I got on the train from Okubo Station on the Kintetsu Kyoto Line without deciding on a destination.
★
いつもながらの複雑さが楽しい、大和西大寺駅のジャンクションを通り、さらに南へと進みます。
The train continues south, passing through the Yamato-Saidaiji Station junction, which is as complex and enjoyable as ever.
★
大和八木駅からは、急行列車で東に向かいます。
From Yamato-Yagi Station, I head east on an express train.
★
途中の名張駅では、特急列車「ひのとり」を見送ります。
この列車、いつ見てもスマートです。
At Nabari Station along the way, I see off the Hinotori, the express train that Kintetsu Railway is proud of. This train is always cool to look at.

また名張駅では、台湾との友好協定締結を記念したラッピング列車にも出会いました。
この後、後続の列車でさらに東へ、伊勢中川駅に向かいます。
At Nabari Station, I also came across a decorated train commemorating the signing of a friendship agreement with Taiwan.
After this, I take the next train further east to Ise-Nakagawa Station.

伊勢中川駅からは名古屋行きの列車に乗り込みます。
From Ise-Nakagawa Station, I board a train bound for Nagoya.

この列車は近鉄では数少ない「転換クロスシート」を装備していて、京都にいる私には乗る機会が少ない車両です。
This train is equipped with convertible cross seats, which is rare on the Kintetsu line, and since I live in Kyoto, it is a vehicle I rarely get to ride.

ただ、名古屋を目指す列車に乗ったのですが、途中の津駅から「JR東海のディーゼル列車」に乗りたくなったので、乗り換えることとしました。
However, I was on a train heading to Nagoya, but I wanted to take a JR Central diesel train at Tsu Station along the way, so I decided to change trains.
津市といえば、やはり「うなぎ」ですよね。
残念ながら、今回は時間の都合で「素通り」でしたが。。
Speaking of Tsu city, it’s definitely “eel”. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I ended up just passing by it this time.

「つ」駅の駅名標、とってもシンプルです。
The station sign for “Tsu” station is very simple.

津駅でJR線のチケットを購入し、この列車に乗り、帰途につきます。
I bought a JR line ticket at Tsu Station and boarded the train to head home.

亀山駅で、京都府に向かう列車に乗り換え。
At Kameyama Station, change to a train heading to Kyoto Prefecture.
★
京都府の加茂駅に到着です。
The train arrives at Kamo Station in Kyoto Prefecture.

加茂駅からは一駅だけ、大阪に向かう列車に乗り、
From Kamo Station, take the train to Osaka, which is just one stop away.

木津駅からはこの日最後の列車に乗り、JR奈良線の新田駅へと向かいます。
From Kizu Station, I take the last train of the day and head to Nitta Station on the JR Nara Line.

気まぐれにスタートしましたが、列車８本、６時間あまりの旅でした。
I started on a whim, but the journey took eight trains and about six hours.
